July 4th 2026: Join Together Festival - The Together Trust

This July I was given the fantastic opportunity to read one of my manuscripts at the incredible Join Together festival. Not only did I read my story, but I was able to do a craft session with the wonderful children, carers and family who attended the festival. Together, we designed our very own raincoats in a style showing our favourite things, read the manuscript (discovering the theme of the raincoats!) and then handed our a stoat for every raincoat made.

The day was full of fun, surprise and joy. As an aspiring author, I do have to say that I have really been floating on cloud nine since! A huge thank you to my friends and family for helping me to put the event on, the the gorgeous people of Stockport who never fail to support each other, and the incredible Together Trust- whose continued efforts change the landscape for inclusivity, representation and education.
